WELCOME TO HARVEST WORSHIP!
The best way that we can honor God in worship is with our every thought and action. Romans 12:1-2 says, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." A life of praise and worship fills our deepest needs and brings great joy to God. Zephaniah 3:17 states, "The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."
We want to experience God's presence at church! More than just attending a "worship service," we believe worship involves a personal exchange with God. As we give Him worship and praise from our hearts, He begins to reveal Himself to us and we are transformed. At Harvest, we seek to accomplish this through contemporary worship accompanied by a band, as well as through other expressions of worship.
We invite you to join us each week as we worship together. You’ll notice a lot of variety in how people participate in the worship time — some sit, others stand, some raise their hands or kneel. How you respond to God in worship is up to you. All we ask is that you go after God with all your heart!
Dwell is a worship and prayer gathering intended for people to come and do simply as the name implies — DWELL in the presence of God. In His presence our perspective shifts, our pain is healed, our sin is forgiven, and captives are set free! John 4 tells us that our Heavenly Father is actively seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. It's our desire to make ourselves available to Him. We want to wait upon the Lord, sit at His feet, and hear what He is saying to us. Dwell gatherings occur roughly once a month in the Chapel. We have teams leading ongoing music and intermix that time with prayer as the Lord leads.
"One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple." Psalm 27:4
