21 DAYS OF PRAYER

At Harvest we start the new year with 21 Days of Prayer. This is a special time when we focus on and emphasize prayer and fasting together as a congregation. We will be kicking off this church-wide initiative on Sunday, January 6. 

Fasting guides and prayer guides, which give directed prayer focuses for our individual prayer times, will be available online and at the info boards and Resource Center. "Pray First" bracelets will also be available. VIEW PRAY FIRST BOOKLET | VIEW FASTING GUIDE

We will have special corporate prayer times on Sunday evenings (January 6, 13 and 20 at 5pm) and Wednesday night services (January 9, 16 and 23 at 6:45pm) in the Worship Center. EVERYONE - elementary-aged kids, preteens, youth, and adults - are invited and encouraged to ccome! Childcare will be available for preschool and under.

Harvest Youth will be meeting for prayer in the chapel from 6-7am Monday-Friday during 21 Days of Prayer.

WOMEN OF HARVEST MOVIE NIGHT - RESERVE YOUR SEAT

The Women of Harvest will host a Movie Night January 19th at 6pm in the Chapel. We are partnering with WIREGRASS HOPE GROUP as they kick off their annual Baby Bottle Boomerang fundraiser. Seating is limited, so please RESERVE YOUR SEAT ONLINE or at the resource center by Sunday, Jan. 13. Join us at Victory Family Church (3225 Headland Ave in Dothan) as many local churches and worship leaders gather together to worship the King of Kings!

COMMITMENT SUNDAY

Sunday, January 27 is Commitment Sunday, the day that as a church we commit our Spiritual Growth Plans for the year to the Lord. The Spiritual Growth Plan is something that we put together so that we would be intentional about growing in our walk with Christ.

Be praying about the areas God would have you commit to for this year. You will be hearing more about this in the coming weeks. Brochures and commitment cards for our Plan for Spiritual Growth 2019 will be mailed to you. Additional cards and brochures will be available in the Worship Center.

HARVEST MEMBERSHIP CLASS
MONday, january 28, 5:45-8:45PM, FELLOWSHIP HALL

This is a one-time, 3-hour class led by Pastor Ralph that focuses on Harvest's vision, how we got here and where we are going, and what it means to be a member. This class is great for those interested in becoming part of Harvest and for those who just want to know more about the church. A light supper will be served. CHAINSAW TRAINING WORKDAY
SATURday, FEBRUARY 2 IN MARIANNA FOR HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORTS

Cleanup efforts are still taking place from the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. There are currently 1500 projects that are connected to 1st United Methodist Church in Marianna. Join us on Saturday, February 2, as we help pick up debris and help with cleanup. We will also use this time for our Chainsaw Training/Workday. Our mission behind this training/workday will be to prepare a group of volunteers at Harvest who will be ready when disaster strikes to go out and reflect God’s glory and grace through effective and efficient chainsaw work to help those in need. We will be leaving the church office at 8am

XO Conference provides expert marriage advice and practical teachings to help couples navigate their marriage journey.

Cost: $10 per couple. Childcare available - reservations required. Harvest will provide finger foods on Friday night and a continental-style breakfast on Saturday morning.

January 30 - Open Small Group starts back with our new study on the Book of Mark. The Gospel of Mark chronicles Jesus’s journey from Galilee to Jerusalem. Along the way, the Messiah gathers a ragged band of disciples. As crowds grow and dwindle on the road to Jerusalem, only a few stick by the Suffering Savior on the road of discipleship. Join us as we trace the steps of Jesus through Israel, and explore the major themes of the Gospel of Mark.
