MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers. We believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That's why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood.  It's being moms that brings us together - and wanting to be the very best moms we can be. The early years of being a mom are just as foundational to you as they are to your baby, and they're filled with unique needs that other moms instinctively understand. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another.

MOPS stands for "mothers of preschoolers." That's birth-kindergarten! We also have accommodations for moms of preschoolers who also have older, homeschooled children.

Better moms make a better world!

The MOPS program at Harvest Church is built on several foundational principles:

  • Community: MOPS provides an open, caring, and accepting atmosphere where women can come together to share this important season of life.
  • Mentoring: Mature women listen, encourage, and offer information and perspectives gained through experience.
  • Practical Instruction: Teaching focuses on areas of common interest, offering inspiration and information that is relevant to the life of a mother.
  • Leadership Development: MOPS groups are organized and run by as well as created for mothers of preschoolers. Women who are involved in MOPS leadership gain confidence in their skills through the training and experience they receive from MOPS.

We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 9:30-11:30am in the Youth Room, upstairs in the Education Building. Childcare is provided.
